Sorrelli was born in the 80’s, alongside some groundbreaking social movements. We saw our ups and downs as the environment changed around us at a fairly rapid pace. We stood and fought against what was wrong and pushed for acceptance and support. My parents were heavily involved in the artist community, as they were and are, inherently artists! Having many friends who were wrongly cast out, and were really struggling, they took a stand by making jewelry for those friends that needed help. They started by making crosses for those affected by the AIDS epidemic, A small gesture, but one that aimed to bring power and strength by showing support and togetherness in our community.

It seemed only fitting, that we would embark on creating our first ever Pride collection to mark the progress we have made as a culture. We believe we are one. And just as we fought to overcome during epidemics, we will continue to fight during this pandemic we are currently in. Just as life changed then, life will change now. And regardless of the negatives during these changes, the OTHER SIDE IS ALWAYS POSITIVE!
