What to wear to a wedding in Mexico

 
Lily recently traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico for a wedding and she’s shared some of her experiences with us as well as outfits and new Sorrelli jewelry.

A tradition for a Mexican wedding is having a calenda the night before the wedding. A Calenda is a Oaxaca tradition where there is a procession through the streets with the bride and groom the night before the wedding.

For the wedding, it was in a gorgeous, outdoor venue called the Jardin Botanico in Oaxaca, the ancient cacti made from amazing photo opportunities.

Lily’s outfit for the wedding showcased the Giselle statement necklacegiselle statement earring set from our Cranberry collection as well as some additional bracelets from old and newer collection, including the giselle tennis bracelet. She paired this with a Mestiza NY gown in black lace and a traditional beaded red head piece from the markets of Oaxaca.
