Introduce yourself and what you do.

Hi! My name is Lisa McCabe, founder of Lovely Leaps. I started this dance company so I could quit my drafting role at General Atomics designing drones and stay home with my daughter. As my company grew, my desire to create a dance company filled with healthy minded and confident dancers grew. Today Lovely Leaps is here to cultivate the love of dance in the younger generation. We want to make sure that every dancer feels seen, heard and loved in their dance journey. My heart is to see all of our students loving themselves and their body’s , wanting to change nothing about themselves.

What is your passion and drives you?

My daughters are my drive. I wanted to create an environment they could thrive in with Lovely Leaps

What woman inspires you most? What is the best piece of advice they've given that you have carried with you throughout your journey?

My mother inspires me. She raised 8 children and homeschooled all of us. We all are top notch at our careers and have a deep relationship with our faith. My mom did an amazing job and I hope to raise my daughters just as well as she and my dad raised me.

What draws you to the Sorrelli brand?

The designs! They are gorgeous! I wore the necklace to class and received compliments from all of the mamas!

What is your personal style, and how does your Sorrelli piece fit into that?

I love dancer chic. The Sorrelli brand fits into my style because the are beautiful statement jewelry that compliments a style more than takes over a style.

Who do you “shout out” to carry on the Sorrelli Sisterhood?

Moriah Smith, @more.curlzzz. I would love to shout her out because she is promoting that all races can have healthy long hair especially African Americans. She’s changing the game in the hair care world and has helped many curly hair girls find their voice.
