  • Office Manager

    Office Manager

    The Office Manager will be responsible for the coordination and execution of various administrative and Human Resource functions within Sorrelli. Additional objectives include providing project management and administrative support and developing and overseeing office programs and policies for maximum productivity and profitability.

    This position works directly with the COO, provides support to Division Managers, is the liaison to the Maintenance staff, and will have direct communications with all employees as it relates to Human Resources functions.

    A successful candidate for this position will demonstrate a collaborative approach to problem solving, the utmost pride in their quality of work, the ability to recognize how their contributions fit into the organization's workflows, and above all a strong sense of self motivation.


    • Handles a variety of Human Resource administration tasks including:
      • Bi-weekly payroll, Benefits enrollment, 401 (k) administration and coordination with benefit providers
      • Employment administration; including updating the HRIS: new hires, changes, terms, etc.
      • Communicate with employees on policies and procedures; recommend policy changes as needed
      • Liaison to Corporate finance team; conducts HR-related billing audits, etc.
    • Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the executive management and Ownership teams; including but not limited to handling communication with governing agencies, drafts correspondence, coordinates travel, manages/negotiates all office related contracts (including telephone, office supplies, copiers, etc.), and coordinates following up on management's behalf
    • Creates and maintains various reports for management: Financial, HR related, and data aggregation for analysis
    • Defines, creates and organizes policies and Standard Operating Procedures as necessary
    • Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and directs housekeeping of office facilities
    • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as coordinating building access codes, opening and closing the building, key access and backup to security access, etc.)
    • Manages office relations: corporate meetings, holiday parties and birthdays, etc.
    • Handles other responsibilities, as assigned

    Job Qualifications

    • Strong sense of confidentiality, comfortable to handle sensitive and personal information
    • Result-driven, with effective planning and detail-oriented organizational skills a must
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in groups
    • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to multitask, and adapt to a changing environment; comfortable with risk and uncertainty
    • Creative, flexible and able to prioritize work effectively
    • Professional appearance and manner
    • General knowledge of Human Resource functions
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—with ability to quickly learn new software
    • Must have full range of motion abilities, and be able to lift 20+ lbs.
    • Demonstrable ability to negotiate effectively, influence others, and define executable process
    • Ability to manage people and process (supervisory experience preferred)

    Education and Experience

    • Associates degree in business administration, accounting or equivalent experience in business related field
    • Previous bookkeeping and/or accounting related experience
    • One to two years of previous experience in office management and/or as executive assistant, preferably in a similar industry (Retail, Wholesale, and/or Manufacturing)

    Sorrelli is a fashion jewelry design company celebrating thirty years of business. The Sorrelli Retail Team strives to offer each and every customer the highest level of service, respect, quality, and a second to none product offering. The ideal Sales Associate will be a self-motivated person. Their primary responsibility will be to sell Sorrelli jewelry in order to achieve personal and organizational sales goals and provide the ultimate Sorrelli experience.


    • Greet customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner
    • Assist customers in selecting jewelry for their desired look
    • Maintain an enthusiastic and positive attitude
    • Establish relationships with customers through personal greetings and clienteling activities
    • Stay up to date on current trends and product knowledge to serve as an expert for the customer
    • Perform daily tasks including inventory maintenance, merchandising, markdowns and light cleaning
    • Maintain the aesthetic of the store by completing daily tasks
